My research examines the politics of recycling the by-products of municipal wastewater treatment. My graduate studies are supported by the US EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Fellowship program.

I am broadly interested in the political and economic processes that influence material infrastructure, knowledge about the environment, and socio-cultural components of risk perception. My work explores the transformation of waste to resource, particularly the process of planned potable water recycling.
