Marissa Isaak, who has been selected as a Society of Woman Geographers Pruitt National Fellow.  The Society of Woman Geographers is a non-profit association designed to provide a medium of intellectual exchange among traveled women engaged in the study of geography and its allied arts and sciences; to further geographical work in all its branches; to spread knowledge of the world and its people; to encourage geographical research; and to support financially fellowship programs that provide aid to outstanding women graduate students in geography and its allied fields. The National Fellowship Program makes awards annually to women graduate students in geography and geographical aspects of other fields at three research universities, through their geography departments.
