Bill Solecki is professor of Geography at Hunter College, NY and former founding director of the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities. His research focuses on urban environmental change, resilience, and adaptation transitions, and he has supported adaptation planning for the New York and New Jersey regions. He was a coordinating lead author for the US National Climate Assessment urban chapter and for the IPCC Special Report on 1.5C.
