2026 edition of "you are here: a journal of creative geography" now on sale

We're excited to announce that the 2026 edition of you are here: a journal of creative geography is now on sale! You can order a copy here! 

 

We're also proud to announce that this year we switched from a big, corporate on-demand print service to a local, union-run print shop! you are here is now printed and distributed by our very own Gloo Factory! This is a big shift toward making the journal's production process line up with our values. 

 

A great way to support the journal and support us in this switch is by purchasing a copy of the journal and encouraging your friends, colleagues and students to do so as well!

 

This year's journal contains a photo essay by SGDE PhD student Noah Schlager called "[Citizen] Indians: Indigenous Superposition in the Southeast", and an essay by SGDE PhD student Ryan Seal entitled "Geography Serves, First and Foremost to Wage War" as well as art by local painter rocki swiderzki and much more.
