On behalf of Dr. Mark Kear...
Kudos to Lise Nelson, who is giving a keynote address today at a hybrid conference, Procesos contemporaneos de transformación territorial en Oaxaca, organized by Universidad del Mar (SUNEO), Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca (ITO), and Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
Her address is based on a research developed and conducted in collaboration with Liz Oglesby, Alex Nava and Christy Stewart, and is titled “Replanteando del humanitarismo crítico: tácticas de cuidado y resistencia con solicitantes de asilo en tránsito por el sur de Arizona 2014-2024” [Re-thinking critical humanitarianism: Strategies of care and resistance with asylum seekers transiting Southern Arizona 2014-2024].
