MDP student Elizabeth Koleski will be presenting two posters and a talk at the American Public Health Association annual meeting. The presentations will reflect her practicum work in Nicaragua. The first poster entitled "Formative research for emergency behavioral change" addresses the use of barrier analysis research to assess zika prevention behaviors in anticipation of the looming epidemic. The second poster "From classroom to campo" is about the integration of university students into community based participatory research to address preventative health behaviors in Nejapa Nicaragua. The oral presentation will combine both topics.
