Ph.D. Candidate Cassidy Schoenfelder joining Department of Indigenous Studies at the University of Buffalo as Post-Doctoral Scholar

 

Kudos to Cassidy Schoenfelder, who I recently learned will be joining the Department of Indigenous Studies at the University of Buffalo this Fall as their 2026-2027 Post-Doctoral Scholar. This is a prestigious position in a great program. Huge congrats, Cassidy! 

 

This coming Tuesday, Aug 4th, Cassidy will be defending her dissertation, entitled "The Role of Indigenous Visual Sovereignty in Tribal-Federal Co-Stewarded National Parks: A Look at Glacier Bay Homeland". Please join us for the public talk portion of the defense, which will take place at 9:30am in S495. All or invited!

 

I understand that the theme of the defense is "Pink." I support this.
