Marion Constante, an alumni from the Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology (2011), has  accepted a job with the Fairfax County Park Authority in Virginia.  She will be a GIS Technician but the work is equal to that of a GIS Specialist. Tawny Lochner, a graduate from the Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology in 2012, has been promoted to an Analyst of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  As an employee of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Technical Services, Tawny now oversees GIS technologies and is an ESRI site licenses representatives for the University of Arizona.  This could possibly be the first designated GIS position at the University of Arizona.
