About Eyal Oren
Eyal Oren, PhD, MS is Assistant Professor in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH, University of Arizona). He is an epidemiologist interested in infectious disease, with an emphasis on respiratory infections and is particularly interested in working with multidisciplinary, innovative new tools and technologies to improve outcomes for those living with respiratory disease. Among other projects, he is working to investigate feasibility of screening for latent TB infeciton among migrant farmworkers on the border, as well as healthcare follow-up.
Teaching areas include undergraduate infectious disease and epidemiology courses, and a graduate- level class in social epidemiology.
