Andrea Gerlak awarded University's Distinguished Mentor Award

Hi All,

I've just learned from the Provost's Office that Andrea Gerlak has been awarded the University's Distinguished Mentor Award!  Not a surprise to those of us who know Andrea and have witnessed her brilliant mentorship, but really great to know that others can see how important her contributions are to our space and our careers. 

 

Andrea was also one of our SGDE anniversary honorees at Friday's end of year party. We have been fortunate to work with her for ten (now nearly eleven) years. 

 

Congratulations, Andrea. Well deserved. Thanks for everything you do for SGDE.
