I am a Ph.D. student in Geography at the University of Arizona. My research interests lie in film geography, with a focus on the geography of film industries, cinematic landscapes, and cinematic mapping.
Before joining the University of Arizona, I received my M.A. in Theory of Art & Culture from Nanjing University. My master’s thesis examined the sense of place in Hong Kong migrant cinema.
Beyond my academic work, I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy Zumba, even though I’m still working on my coordination!
