This talk will take place from 3:30-5pm on Friday, January 26 in room S107 of the ENR2 building. All are welcome!
Manuel holds a PhD in Geography with mention in Anthropology from the University of Arizona. He is associate professor at Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile and associate researcher at the Center for Intercultural and Indigenous Research (CIIT). His research agenda is at the intersection between political geography, political ecology and environmental anthropology. He has investigated socio-natural transformations in relation to the commodification of nature, the processes of state formation, internal colonialism, local environmental knowledge and the articulation of indigeneity.
