Dr. Cassidy Schoenfelder successfully defends dissertation

Dear all, 

 

Please join me in congratulating Cassidy Schoenfelder who successfully defended her dissertation, “ The Role of Indigenous Visual Sovereignty in Tribal Co-Stewarded National Parks: A look at Glacier Bay Homeland.” 

 

Her committee was comprised of me as chair, Amy Fatzinger from American Indian Studies, Stefano Bloch, Diana Liverman and Sarah Hunt from the University of Victoria. 

 

She will start her postdoc at the University of Buffalo to continue working on her dissertation as a book manuscript project this fall.
