Dr. Karina Martinez-Molina (MDP Alum) successfully defends dissertation

Congratulations to Dr. Karina Martinez-Molina (MDP Alum), who this morning defended her dissertation, "An Energy Justice Perspective on Home Thermal Security of Manufactured Housing Residents in the US Southwest."

 

Her committee was co-chaired by me (SGDE) and Alberto Arenas, Professor of Environmental and Sustainability Education as well as Craig Wissler, SNRE, and Stephanie Buechler, SGDE (Emeritus) and Associate Research Professor in Ag Sciences Global at Penn State. 

 

Karina's dissertation is filled with policy recommendations and insights that she is well positioned to make a reality in her day job in the City Manager's Office, where she is working to implement the City's Resilient Together Climate Action Plan.
