"Transforming our current food system into a sustainable food system is at the forefront for reaching climate change targets, improving water quality, improving health, and reducing the number of animals subjected to the cruelties of the industrial animal agriculture system.

"One method to catalyze this transformation towards a more sustainable food system is by decreasing the amount of animal-based products and increasing the consumption of plant-based products throughout institutions around the nation.
