Successful Summer Ph.D. Defenses 

Help us congratulate those that successfully defended their PhD dissertations over the summer! 

Mona Arora defended in mid-July.  Her dissertation was titled "Enhancing Public Health Response to Health Impacts of Climate Change: Needs, Gaps, and Opportunities.” 

Gigi Owen defended early August.  Her dissertation was titled "Evaluating Effectiveness in Climate Change Adaptation and Socially-Engaged Climate Research." 

Qing Zhong defended early August.  Her dissertation was titled "Spatial Optimization Perspectives on Sustainable Energy Landscapes."
