The MDP Program and Opposition to Systemic Racism

The Arizona MDP Program is strongly committed to combating systemic racism and other forces that impede human wellbeing, both in the US and internationally. A major goal of all Development Practice is to train students to advance justice, reduce poverty, and enhance equality.  

We fully endorse the recent statement released by our parent department, the UA School of Geography and Development: SGD statement of support and solidarity: Racism and the Death of George Floyd
