Congratulations to our MDP Winter 2021 graduates, Heather Altherr and Charles Meisch!

Heather’s MDP journey included important work with the Humanitarian Assistance Technical Support project and the Southwest Decision Resources team. In addition to completing the MDP program, Heather earned a Graduate Certificate in GIS with a focus on participatory mapping. Following graduation Heather has already jumped into several exciting consulting opportunities.

Along with a degree in MDP, Charles earned an M.S. in Applied Econometrics and Data Analysis at UA, and contributed to crucial work to interdisciplinary research on housing access, heat, and health in Arizona. Charles also pursued an internship at Tucson’s Tango International while in MDP and will step into a full-time researcher role at Tango in Spring 2022.
