Congratulations to SGD PhD student whose 2014 Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing publication, "Mapping Impervious Surfaces Using Object-Oriented Classification in a Semiarid Urban Region" has won First Place in the 2015 ESRI Award for Best Scientific Paper in Geographic Information Systems!
