Atticus Zavelle, a current student in the MS-GIST program, was recently hired as a full-time Geospatial Technician with Statistical Research Inc (SRI).  SRI has offices throughout the Western United States and performs services and research related to cultural resource management and historic preservation.  He will be joining Rita Sulkosky, an MS-GIST graduate from 2011, in SRI's Tucson office.

PhD graduate Brian Marks has accepted a visiting assistant professor position at the State University of New York, Geneseo beginning January 2013.  According to U.S. News and World Report's College Campus Compass, SUNY Geneseo was ranked 10 among the nation's best regional universities.
