Elizabeth Koleski presented two posters at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting that wrapped up recently, on November 2nd, in Denver. Drawing on her summer practicum experience in Nicaragua, the posters were entitled "Formative research for emergency behavioral change," relating to Elizabeth's work on Zika virus prevention, and "From classroom to campo," about incorporating university students in community-based, participatory action research on preventative health in Nejapa, Nicaragua. Sounds awesome! Looking forward to hearing how it went.
