The School of Geography and Development is very grateful for a generous gift from Professor Emeritus Bob Altschul and his wife Donna Altschul that will allow us to establish the Dieter and Donna Altschul scholarship for a graduate student in the school.  Professor Altschul taught in the school from 1963 to 1995 with interests in physical geography and Africa.  Donna Altschul has a Masters degree in geography also from this department with a focus in climatology.
