Sauer Distinguished Scholarship Award at the Conference of Latin Americanist Geographers (CLAG) recent conference in New Orleans.  It was awarded previously but Diana was only able to attend the recent meeting to accept the award.

Kudos to Kara Tanoue who has been awarded the SBSRI Pre-doctoral Grant Award for a SNAP retailer access study in rural communities. Here are some of the reviewers’ comments “Truly outstanding. The research has good theoretical foundations. I could absolutely see this research affecting government policy and the policy of NGOs and food sellers”.
